The ear pads are made from memory foam and come with standard, long, and short oval options.
This allows for customization so that comfort can be tailored to individual parts. You consider investing in this device; then this Aiaiai Headphone Review is all you need.

Build & Design
The Speaker Units of the Aiaiai TMA-2 pair of headphones are built around custom-designed 120mm drivers with a 5-inch mid range driver and a 1-inch tweeter. The ear pads are comfortable, soft, and very well-cushioned.
The drivers were chosen for their low mass and high sensitivity, which give the headphones good treble extension and a warm sound sonic signature. A silicone membrane separates the speaker unit, and the entire speaker sits on a magnetically attached metal cage that can easily be removed.
Things kick off with the speaker units, with four options available. Each one is assigned a critical characteristic that’s also its product name. So, there’s Allround (S01), Punchy (S02), Warm (S03), and Vibrant (S04) to pick from.
There’s also an option to add a diffuser that expands the soundstage and offers some noise cancelling. A microphone will be available on the final model. The second part of this smart speaker is a wireless hub that streams audio from either a smartphone, tablet, or laptop.
It handles the media and the network (for example, wifi) and routes it to the speakers and headphones via the driver units. The speaker units also connect to the hub, where they sit in a proper 3D audio staging environment.
The Allround, Punchy and Warm sounds are the most neutral of the four. The Vibrant audio is a little more percussive and lively than the other two, with more attention to detail.
The simple assembly of components can be done in a matter of seconds. Insert the speaker into the band, plug in the connection cable, and tighten with a quarter-turn.
For the most part, these controls are sensibly laid out there are three buttons, with the middle button handling playback, call management, voice assistants, and track navigation
Wired Headbands were constructed from high-grade nylon and soft foam; Wired mode headbands are the latest addition to the ever-growing collection of headphones.
The ear cups are made from acoustic film, which reduces sound leakage and provides a good seal.
The storage case is made from plastic and neat but can easily be damaged with rough handling.
Grip the H05 headband; the headphones won’t fall off your head unless you’re throwing them into a corner.
Wireless Headbands allow the user to listen to audio or make phone calls wirelessly, ideal for traveling to a gig. The ear cup is smaller than the previous version, making for a more comfortable fit.
The storage case is made from plastic and neat but can easily be damaged with rough handling.
The Bluetooth connection headbands are slightly thicker in design than the regular speaker units. Inside the band are the Bluetooth connection chip and a built-in battery, microphone, and control buttons.
The AIAIAI Bluetooth Closed Modular Silver TMA-2 HD Wireless ear cup is made from plastic and has a matte finish.
The earcups are the same size as the previous wired versions. The band of Aiaiai TMA 2 HD wireless has a more textured outer shell, which makes it more comfortable to wear.
Ear Pads: AIAIAI offers four choices of earcups made with memory foam that clip neatly onto any speaker unit via four ball joints on the band. The pads are made from synthetic leather and can be removed for washing or replacement.
Anyone who has used Sennheiser HD-25 headphones in the past will recognize the on-ear pad. These pads come in either microfibre or PU leather and are very comfortable.
Although more costly, the larger over-ear pads offer greater comfort and better noise cancelling than other on-ear options. These cups can be ordered in either PU Leather (or Alcantara) and are designed for long listening sessions.
The new headbands for portable audio use come with an improved carrying case which is more robust, making it able to take more punishment.
The remote improves the previous model as it now has a volume slider for adjusting volume directly with the controller. It is also blue, which matches the included carrying case.
The cable can be swapped from the previous product with a simple switch of the ends, meaning that the cable can still be ordered for use with older models.
The new cable is made from thicker, more flexible material than the previous audio products. The microphone cable is longer than the earlier version.
The loop on the carry case has been upgraded to a much sturdier fabric loop which will not wear out as quickly as the original.
There are also inline mic options for iPhones with lightning ports, USB C charging cable, and a Triad hi-fi cable. Although the triad hi-fi cables have better shielding to reduce interference, we are not sure how noticeable this will be. The TMA-2 USB C cable is robust, durable, and beautifully finished. There is a USB C cable for every need.
It is now easier than ever to use the headband, ear cushions pillows, and cables. The cable can even be customized to meet your needs. Are you looking for a particular length? Do you require a hands-free kit? Do you prefer straight cables or spiral cables? My favorite cable was the 1.5 meter, fabric-sheathed, spiral cable (C04).
The reason for this was that long cables could interfere with the connection. However, the sheathing makes it stronger and more resistant to tangling. Earpads can also be influenced by personal preference.
It makes sense to buy two pairs of ear pads due to the flexibility of the cushions and the low cost of different variants. You’ll need to purchase a supra-aural and circumaural set. The E05 and E02 were my favorites.
The microfibre-covered E01 was the only one that I found uncomfortable. All other models are comfortable, except for the E01, which was a little too thin and uncomfortable.
The circumaural option is slightly less snug than the supra-aural. The thicker the padding, the greater the number of the headband. This test revealed that the H03 variant was my favorite in terms of comfort.
Comfort and Size Features
We found that the Aiaiai TMA 2 HD headphones are more comfortable on the neck than the old item. Although the noose is slightly more relaxed on the neck of the new product, we found it still very comfortable and light on the neck.
We measured about 3 inches around, which is just slightly smaller than the original Aiaiai TMA 2 HD headphone design.
We measured the three sizes that the case comes in, which are about an inch longer than the originals. The patients were about 0.50 inches thick, but they added a lot of protection to the controllers.
I like these cases and would recommend them if you plan on transporting your controllers a lot, as they will protect them from bumps and bruises.
We decided to test sound through the headphone jack since most people will use it in their bedroom or car.
We found that the sound through the headphone jack was excellent. The sub-bass range was deep and punchy, the mids were crisp and clear, and the treble was just a little bit tinny but still clear everything you could ever want from a pair of earbuds.
The TMA-2 HD wireless headphones have a noise cancelling design, which will mean they can stand up to a lot of outside noise. That also means that the microphonics are pretty bad, but I don’t think that will be much of an issue.
It wasn’t as loud as we would have liked, and we probably would have preferred a jack with a low impedance rating of 32 ohms, but they were still loud enough for most situations.
The highs on offer are detailed and clear, and you’ll get plenty of instrument separation to help make listening to an enjoyable experience without ambient noise.
The TMA-2 HD wireless headphones perform exceptionally well on all fronts. They are both stylish and functional, easy to use, customizable, comfortable, and have good sound.
The only difference between the two versions of these headphones is that the wireless model has smaller speakers for more detailed sound at the cost of less sub bass response (a trade-off every person will have to weigh to see what they prefer).
These headphones are perfect for anyone who wants comfortable, stylish, and functional headphones that will not break the bank. They look great.
The TMA-2 HD wireless headphones are highly versatile and can be used with almost any device: home stereos, laptops, and mobile devices.
These headphones can handle anything you throw at them from your morning workout to a busy day at work and then an hour or two later being used for pleasure listening.
Rating Sound 6.6 / 8.3 / 9.3 Sound rating is a weighted average of Frequency Response, Adaptiveness, Harmonic Distortion, and Channel Balance scores, with Frequency Response and Adaptiveness having the greatest influence. Frequency response 4 / 9 / 10 The flatter the frequency response the higher the score.
There are many technical options available in each of the four groups. However, the catalog will continue to grow.
The speaker modules are the first to go. There are four options. Each module is given an essential characteristic, which is also the product name.
There are four options: Allround (S01), Punchy, Warm (S02), Warm and Vibrant(S04). There are various earpads available, from the microfibre-covered E01 up to the luxurious faux leather E07.
The Bluetooth Headband can be chosen from two versions: the H01 is the smallest, and the H02 is the most elegant. The cable selection is also essential. You’re spoilt for choices here too.
This range includes everything you need, including a short straight version with an integrated microphone (C01) and a long-coiled version with an enclosed mini-jack adapter(C03).
It is easy to assemble the components. Just push the speaker into your headband catch, plug in the cable to the top and turn it a quarter turn.
You can do this on either side. Clip the desired earpad into the four insertion points. The TMA-2 can be used once this is done.
TMA-2-aspiring TMA-2 modular headphone system users can expect a wide range of components, but there will be some difficulties due to the extensive selection. The loudspeakers should be the first thing to focus on when choosing those components.
All modules have 40mm drivers that compete with the amplifier’s resistance of 32 Ohm. These modules are suitable for use on mobile devices.
“I have been using the Aiaiai Tma 2 HD Wireless headphones for about seven months now, and they are amazing. They are perfect for working out due to their lightweight design, making them extremely comfortable when worn for hours hearing music.
The sound clarity is excellent with noise cancellation tech (ANC), Inside, the band features a high-quality Bluetooth chipset that supports the Aptx HD codec. I would recommend these to anyone looking for high-quality headphones that won’t break the budget.”
“First off, this is my first “real” set of headphones after purchasing a few other brands over the years. I decided to spend more than usual on these headphones because I wanted them to be comfortable wearing during longer listening sessions, and I wanted them to have full, sound clarity with frequency response detail and clarity, active noise cancellation technology (ANC), the ear cups look high-end. When it comes to battery life, you’ll get 16 hours, which is fine, but not amazing.
We would have liked battery life a little longer, but the fact that AIAIAI has to jam the power into the headband means that may be difficult.”
“I’d been searching for a set of wireless pair of headphones that sounded great and worked well with all the devices I had (iPhone 5s, iMac 2012) and which were also comfortable enough to wear while doing other things.
These headphones seem to fit the bill so far, with only one quirk/complaint: I wear my hair in a ponytail, and it can sometimes catch (uncomfortably) on the right earpiece when I move my head, or the cable rubs the back of my neck. you’ll also have to forego the AptX HD codec support. their overall tonality is good.
Other than that, I like these value headphones very much with noise cancellation technology (ANC). Generally speaking, It can be said that TMA-2 HD wireless is a massive upgrade over their predecessor TMA-1 Studio. The TMA-2 modular concept is great”
The TMA-2 headphone is an excellent pair of headphones that can be used for just about anyone or anything. They are highly versatile and customizable. These headphones look great with an urban style that works well in almost any setting, whether home or play, amazing sound with noise cancellation technology (ANC).
The TMA-2 headphone also connects up to 4 different headphones to share music with your friends or family. There’s support for AAC AptX HD 24 bit streaming audio, but no extras like noise cancellation or an app for EQ adjustments.
The TMA-2 headphone is a highly well-rounded headphone that will not break the budget. It has excellent sound, looks good, and can be customized depending on what you want out of them. Hooke Audio hopes that our Aiaiai TMA-2 review will help you know should you invest in it?
