Thanks to its front-firing 12-inch spun-copper driver, the Klipsch 112SW subwoofer is stunning. The cabinet houses the driver in a gorgeous brushed black polymer veneer MDF cabinet. This enhances its performance. The plinth is satin-painted and adds design to the unit. It also provides support.

To reduce noise, the subwoofer features a slot-port at the front that uses proprietary internal geometry. This allows for cleaner low frequencies and easier placement. The Polk Audio PSDW505 12’’ Powered Subwoofer has a cleaner appearance without any slot ports.

The Klipsch R-112sw has a vastly different sound and feel. The woofer can add some room shaking and thumping, but it won’t sound too loud or lack great words. Although it can go down low, it doesn’t hit as hard as the 15. It doesn’t have to be adjusted every time you change the audio type. It will perform well and be well-priced.

The sound quality is great. It’s tight, power, deep, and aggressive. The sound quality will initially be slow due to the ported sound and prolonged overhanging. The wall-shaking and floor will allow you to feel amazing. The R-112SW Subwoofer has a remarkable tone, captures the sound as well as the lowest lows from movies and music. It is not easy to get a sub that produces a smooth and tight bass. There will also be no distortion. Its size allows it to reproduce low frequencies without causing distortion to the woofer.

The R-112sw, weighing 22kg, is considered to be light. This 12″ model is also attractive because of its size. This sub’s MDF box is completely brushed with black veneer polymer. The result is a stark contrast to the copper-colored membrane, which was made with cerametallic.

Klipsch’s subwoofer features a high stiffness-to-mass ratio and damping properties. The sub is powered by a class D digital amplifier with an RMS of 30 Watts. This allows the subwoofer to have a frequency response of 24 Hz to 175 Hz, and a sound pressure of 118dB.

  • This subwoofer is available in both the black and copper versions.
  • It is simple to establish a wireless connection, especially if you purchase an optional KlipschWA-2 wireless subwoofer kit.
  • The woofer’s Cerametallic finish will give it a beautiful look and will last for many years.
  • It offers variable phase control as well as a low-pass crossover.

  • Sometimes a subwoofer can produce a rattling sound.
  • When it is disconnected from VAR, emits a humming

The subwoofer is made of a brushed veneer polymer. It is also painted in black, which, although not very attractive, looks terrific. The copper cone in the middle of the subwoofer makes it stand out from the rest. The Klipsch logo is located at the top of the subwoofer’s cone. This cone was adjusted with 8 black nails.

This cone covers the entire front of Reference at 10 inches in diameter and is securely secured by eight screws. With its Front-Firing Driver, It’s the key component of Reference 10SW’s outstanding natural low-frequency response. The minimal cone breakup gives the bass response an enormous kick.

The Klipsch subwoofer is the best choice if you want to enhance your home theater surround sound system with powerful bass.

The subwoofer unit includes a 150-watt RMS amp and a 10-inch copper-spun frontfiring. Together, they produce 300 watts of dynamic low-end output. This unit will be the centerpiece of your surround sound. You’ll hear all the music, movies, and video games, but you’ll also feel their impact of them.

Klipsch markets the R-10SW as an additional subwoofer to create an actual surround sound system. The subwoofer works well with Klipsch’s audio products. However, it can also be used with receivers of other brands, as long as you access a sub-output.

The Klipsch reference subwoofer is one of Klipsch’s more affordable models, but the company did not compromise on its raw performance. The R-10SW delivers the same level of fidelity and clarity as other premium subwoofers in the same price range if any.

Klipsch reference offers excellent flexibility and excellent bass performance. The frequency response can range from 32 to 120Hz and has a frequency crossover level between 40 to 160Hz. The digital amplifier is 300 watts and helps to reproduce the sound. Most users consider the low-frequency response to be better due to the subwoofer’s solid injection modeling feature.

Line-level and Low-Frequency Effects inputs let you easily connect the R-10SW to almost any stereo receiver or home theater.

When you listen to music or watch movies, there is no clipping distortion or sound. The woofer will not emit any irritating air. You can enjoy an outstanding audio experience with the R-10SW by mixing low-frequency tones whenever you use different speaker types.

The huge woofer produces a natural low-frequency response with deep, undistorted bass reproduction. It’s a front-firing unit, so you can place it anywhere in your room and still get the seismic-level punches while listening to EDM or watching action movies.

Although the Cinema 1200 is the most extensive system of its type, the Cinema 1200’s wood cabinets allow for a smooth and sweet resonance. They also make the design look very classy.

The Cinema 1200 may be a good compromise for those who want a more traditional multi-component system as long as there is enough subwoofer.

The Cinema 1200’s HDMI eARC was added via a firmware upgrade. This allows for full-bandwidth audio transference and makes it much easier to get the best audio from any eARC-ready television (including most TVs starting in 2020).

This enables the sound bar to decode your TV’s audio and eliminates sync issues. You can control the volume and power of the bar using your TV remote, just like a regular HDMI ARC.

HDMI eARC is a standard feature for modern soundbars. The Cinema 1200 has dual HDMI 2.1 inputs that allow 8K video passthrough and 4K HDR (including DolbyVision at 120Hz) and even support gaming features such as Auto Low Latency Mode (the first bar I tested to add them).

What does all this mean? It should be possible to connect your PS5 or Xbox Series X/S directly without compromising your TV’s inputs and gaming optimization features.

The Cinema 1200’s rich midrange detail is matched with a sharp clarity up top that enhances all video content virtually. This includes Frasier Crane’s dulcet radio voice and rich horn and string background music in movies. Ghost Stories, a spooky horror movie on Hulu, was a pleasant experience. The orchestral swells were rushing forth to intensify the terror.

The Cinema 1200’s 54-inch width is not tiny, but it still measures just three inches. This system sounds more like confirmed speakers than many others, thanks to a combination of sound design, Klipsch’s famous tractrix horn tweeters, and wooden cabinet materials.

  • A speaker-like, rich sound
  • Potent Dolby Atmos sound
  • Future-proofed connectivity

  • Strangely limited sound customization
  • No DTS decoding
  • Subwoofers that are massive and powerful

Klipsch is best known for its horn-loaded speakers. This technology is a driver amplified with a widening diaphragm, and it’s used in megaphones and public address systems. The Cinema 400 is proud to feature this design aesthetic.

A Tractrix horn in gunmetal with a 1-inch tweeter is located at each end of the soundbar. These distinctive horns are flanked by a pair of 3-inch oval, fiber-composite cones woofers hidden behind a black tweed grill.

Cinema 400 soundbars are made of wood (MDF), which is a different material than most. It feels very sturdy. The bar is 40 inches wide and 2.8 inches tall. Some TVs can have issues with height. I found that the bar was high enough to block the remote sensor of the Sony XBR55X950G that I tested.

The system boasts a frequency response of 35Hz, thanks to the reserve. The soundbar also features a subwoofer to allow you to connect to a wired sub. This sub can be used with or without the soundbar.

Klipsch’s sound would be described as detailed and sassy if I had to describe it. It’s no surprise that the rock establishment adopted the brand, both by those who love the genre and by the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

Klipsch Cinema 400 is a faithful reinterpretation of this tradition, but it doesn’t drift into the upper-midrange unhappiness as other bright speakers.

The Klipsch was compared to the JBL Bar 2.1, Deep Bass. I found the Klipsch sounding airier than the JBL, while the JBL seemed a bit more forward. In my Deep Bass review, I noted that the JBL lacks transparency and slam when it comes to music.

My testing began with the Matrix lobby scene. In it, Neo and Trinity take out the metal detectors and transport human truckloads full of weaponry. Then comes an epic firefight.

This was a clear departure from the JBL, as the Klipsch had a better separation of instruments and a greater sense of dynamics when I listened carefully to the interplay of the drums with the guitar. I could feel Joe Lally’s bass line through my feet.

However, Klipsch was not all about power. The Klipsch could convey Dolly Parton’s melodic Jolene guitar playing, and the instrument’s snap seemed more natural than a physical speaker.

Her voice was expressive and haunting in the best possible way. After that, the JBL was a disappointment. Her voice wasn’t as clear, and her lyrics weren’t quite as understandable.

Klipsch R12Sw Subwoofer

The Klipsch R-12SW Subwoofer measures approximately 14×18.5×16 inches and is 30 pounds in weight. Its cube-shaped design makes it look expensive and will be a great addition to any entertainment system.

Klipsch’s sturdy construction makes it strong and stable. Although it can be difficult to reposition the device, its benefits far outweigh these inconveniences.

Klipsch speakers are some of the most respected in the market, and their subwoofers don’t disappoint. The R-12SW is a great choice for those who want crisp bass and don’t mind big boxes taking up space or affecting other furniture.

The R-12SW 12’’ powered subwoofer is smaller than other models due to its build quality. Klipsch’s unique design technology allows it to produce clear sound at lower frequencies than other subwoofers. This gives them more headroom in frequency response and increases excursion capabilities.

The cabinet is made from standard Medium Density Fiber (MDF) and covered in a brushed black polymer veneer cabinet for added texture. This piece has a brushed black look that gives it a luxurious feel without sacrificing style or performance.

Klipsch R-12SW Subwoofers have a variety of inputs that can connect to your audio system. The back panel contains knobs and switches that allow you to adjust the frequency range, phase, gain, gain, etc. which are ideal if you desire customized sound quality.

Klipsch R-12SW includes a set of RCA audio inputs. The input on the left doubles as the input for low-frequency effects (LFE).

The gain control

You can adjust the volume of your receiver’s audio signal by using the gain knob. It will not be adjusted for input – if you want more bass (e.g. when watching movies), turn the knob to adjust the control of your subwoofer!

The phase control

The phase switch can be used to add an electric delay to the audio signal. You can also set it 180 degrees to reverse the polarity of your subwoofer. This may increase remarkably low-frequency response.

The Low-pass crossover

A low-pass filter knob allows you to adjust the number of powerful bass frequencies that will be transmitted through your subwoofer. A 60Hz cutoff means that any sound below 60Hz will be filtered out by the speaker system before it reproduces them. This can cause problems if instruments or vocals are in these ranges.

The Klipsch R-12SW’s impressive frequency range is between 29 and 120 Hertz, which is a measure of frequency. The adjustable low filters allow you to choose which frequencies are more important. Anything above 120 Hertz is left unaffected, while anything between 29 and 120 Hertz is reduced at different rates depending upon the setting.

Klipsch’s R-12SW subwoofer provides rich, deep bass without compromising accuracy. With its powerful tones, clear vocals, loud bass and captures not just the sound, this subwoofer will fill any room in your home stereo system.

If you’re looking for deep, high-performance subwoofer and smooth bass sounds from some top-notch speakers at an affordable price range, the Klipsch R-12SW is your best choice!

If you are looking for the best quality sound system, the Klipsch R-12SW Subwoofer is a great choice. The 12″ speaker lets you enjoy deep bass with no distortion, even when you crank up the volume!

Klipsch Cinema 800 Soundbar

  • HDMI: 2x In, 1x Out (eARC).
  • Digital input: Optical
  • Network: Wi-Fi, Ethernet
  • Wireless: Spotify Connect, Spotify Cast, Bluetooth
  • Voice control: Google Assistant compatible
  • Analog in: 3.5 mm minijack
  • Subwoofer: 10′ Wireless
  • Dolby Atmos audio formats
  • Dimensions of soundbar: 122×7.3×8.6 cm
  • Dimensions of subwoofer dimensions: 36.8×47.1×36.8 cm
  • Finish: Black speaker fabric with imitation wood veneer

The design is a little too angular and raw. We are not impressed by the vinyl finish used to represent wood veneer. However, the overall quality is comparable to the price.

We think the Cinema series would look best in a basement living room with brick walls, a Stressless armchair, and an old sofa, rather than a penthouse apartment furnished with designer furniture.

Klipsch Cinema features two HDMI inputs to connect video sources and one HDMI eARC (audio-return channel) that help the soundbar connect directly with the TV. This allows you to download audio from streaming services like Netflix or HBO Max.

The smart bar is equipped with Wi-Fi to be connected via the Klipsch Connect app. Spotify Connect allows you to access music. Another option is Bluetooth for live music playback.

Before we began testing the Cinema, we did a small rehearsal with the Cinema 600 that we still had. Klipsch’s smaller bar has a rich, accessible, and energetic sound image. It also features a beautiful sparkle in the bass and treble.

It can play music and film loud and deep, and it can also be very empathic. There is no Atmos sound. This makes the sound front-focused without any surround effects.

We had high expectations for Cinema 800’s sound bubble to be more comprehensive, credible, and compelling when it entered the arena. The sound effects are also more dynamic in this configuration. Formula 1 cars speed past us, sound effects and voices have greater resonance, and the soundscape is more fluid.

The Cinema is not able to provide the wow factor. It’s smaller than Atmos soundbars such as the Samsung HWQ960A or Sonos Arc. Comparable to other soundbars, the Cinema 800’s height, width, and size are somewhat limited.

It sounds very much like my little brother …Geir, he says. Audun also agrees, I don’t get the great wow effect of the Atmos effects.

  • Klipsch provides a stunning surround sound system with solid bass from the subwoofer.

  • The sound quality isn’t significantly different from Cinema 600, despite Dolby Atmos support.
