Build and Design

Build and Design

When holding these mo fi powered headphones, they feel solid. The design of these blue mo fis is also very nice. This makes the speaker drivers inside all the more impressive.

The drivers are made with neodymium magnets. Neodymium magnets are robust and durable. These drivers can withstand high volume levels without any distortion.

At the same time, neodymium magnets are lightweight, which makes these earbuds ideal for working out or other physical activities. The body of the headphone has a matte finish. The earbuds are also available in different colors.

The headband of the headphone is also made from metal, and it is solid; it also has an adjustable slider to accommodate any length or width of noggin, can adjust with a sliding slider.

They can be hung around the neck because they drop entirely. Toward the back of the band is the adjustable tension dial knob, which modifies the snugness of the secure fit.

The 3.5mm jack and the gold plated L and R buttons can be rotated and swiveled 180° with a single pull, just like the model above. It is also an additional bonus point. The jack is angled at a 45-degree angle to get a better sound from the earbuds.

The Mo fi’s built in amplifier is a stereo amp with a maximum power output of 32 mW. The headphone amplifier is capable of powering three drivers at the same time. The idea is to improve the sound out of a smartphone or portable device while also eliminating the need for an external headphone amp.

A small power switch on the left ear cup can activate three settings: “On” kicks the amp into gear while “On+” adds low-end support.

The built in amp must be charged using the mini-USB cable supplied. A three to four-hour charge will give 12 hours of playback. The last option is “Off” which can be used to listen when the battery dies passively.

In passive mode, the phones present a 42Ω impedance and in active mode, the amplifiers go down to 10Hz. The signal-to-noise ratio is quoted at better than 105dB, or 20 microvolts, inactive, and the amplifiers deliver 240mW of power with a distortion-plus-noise figure of 0.004 percent

These Blue mo fi headphones from Blue Microphones come with two audio cables. The short audio cables include a mic and remote and are meant for use with mobile devices.

The longer cable has its volume control and, in addition to the mic, provides a 3.5mm jack connection for non-mobile devices.

The mo fi headphones from Blue Microphones are extremely comfortable. The earpieces are lined with a soft layer of foam, and each of the earcups has a layer of soft felt on the inner side. The top of the headband is covered in a similar type of foam.

It’s also 2.5 mm on the end that connects to the headphones, making it even harder to replace.

The headphones from Blue Microphones are pretty comfortable fit. I found that the earcups were a bit too small for my head shape, and the top of the headband was also a bit on the small side.

The earcups also don’t swivel with the head. The blue’s mo fi headphones I have to do at least have a bit of a spring in them, so I can wear them for a while without my ears getting sore.

The extendable ear cups wrapped around my ears in a snug yet comfortable ring of memory foam. The ear cups are removable and can be replaced with aftermarket ones if needed.

They have an excellent range of motion that fits my big head just fine. Each cup has a detachable cable attached to it. So, you have a choice of a single-ended cable or a balanced audio cable for a premium listening experience.

The thick pads hug your ears, providing good isolation too. The thick strip of pleather underneath the narrow headband is there to protect the top of your head, but it can’t quite stifle the burden of the 466g structure – you won’t forget these are on your head in a hurry

Battery Life

The headphones pack a massive 9,000 mAh battery that will last you through a day or more of casual use. You’ll quickly get a full charge from the battery if you listen to it for a couple of hours a day.

I never found myself having to charge them before I went to bed at night. When you’re on the go, they are very portable. Each cup packs a 1 amp USB charger that will get you 4 hours of use out of one full charge.

Sound Quality

We tested the Blue Mo-Fi headphones by plugging them into a Focusrite Saffire Pro 40. However, as the integrated amplifier is a crucial feature of the Blue Mo-Fi headphones, most testing was done with the headphones plugged into a mobile device.

There are three modes available for the headphones. The headphones function precisely the same as other passive headphones when the switch is in the off position. The headphone amplifier can be turned on by turning the switch to “On,” while “On+” activates an analog bass boost circuit.

Natural sound Quality During testing, we plugged the Blue Mo-Fi headphones into a Focusrite Saffire Pro 40 and played lossless audio to test them in passive mode, but since the integrated amp is a major advertised feature, the majority of testing was done with the headphones powered on and plugged into a mobile device.

The deep bass impact of the Mo-Fi is not as punchy as that of its competitor, but it still packs a punch. The bass heavy response does not seem to lack detail or definition, but it felt a little thick and required a little more effort to find the required bass on a couple of tracks.

The Mo-Fi also lacks a little in the mid-bass boost department, as it is even more prevalent on the Sennheiser HD 650.

The mids are rich and thick, sounding without becoming overly soft. The piano sounded great, while guitars said powerful with just the right amount of bite.

The midrange is the star of the show, but not at the expense of other frequencies. Highs are well-extended and have great detail with the right amount of sparkle. I felt there could be a little more extension at the very top, but you can’t have everything.

Expect to find a crispy, detailed, and crispy-sounding balance on the highs. Harsh cymbals and details that might get lost in the mix with other models were never lost on the white model.

I could hear more high-end detail on this setup than on any other I’ve tested so far. It’s excellent for all types of music, but particularly jazz, R&B, and hip-hop.

“I am writing to you to thank you for this Mo fi’s product. The two speakers make a complete sound, and I got a great deal on the speakers as well with a sound good, extra bass mode is awesome.

But unfortunately. it is not supported They don’t have active noise canceling, so that’s the only area where another headphone might better serve you, but their isolation is pretty impressive. It is the best sound headphone market”
