Design and Build quality

The design of the Kicker HP402BTB Tabor headphones is very nice. The black ear cups are nicely designed with a silver line around the outside of each ear cup.

The headband is made of lovely soft plastic that has metal supports in it. The ear cups headphones are also well-padded and comfortable to wear for long periods. The ear cups have a lot of range of motion as well.

The headphones come with an aux cord for wired play if you run out of battery and the charging cable. The cord is detachable from the headset and is about 7 feet long, which is plenty long enough for most users. The cable headphones terminate in a 3.5mm male plug.

The controls for volume are located on the right earcup. The volume controls work independently from your mobile device’s book. There is also a Power button that controls playback, call management, and pairing. Track navigation has two buttons with dedicated forward and backward buttons.

Although it can be annoying to remember the exact location of each control at first, it is far more convenient than having too many switches controlling different functions. This design decision often causes users to power down or skip tracks, even though they only try to increase the volume.

The connection for the included USB power cable, a pinhole mic, and a 3.5mm connection for the included audio cable for wired listening is also located on the right earcup.

The cables, which are linguini-Esque, are bright yellow. It has an inline microphone and remote control. Multiple clicks can control playback, call management, and track navigation.

However, the remote cannot control volume. The headphones will stop working after you connect the cable. If the device is within range, the headphones will pair automatically again.

The tangle-free tangle cord makes for easy storage. It can be folded behind the headband, but keep in mind that it will not stay like that if the line is unwound during transport.

The kicker headphones’ headband is made of hard plastic with an “S” design. It has a slight curve to it, which helps seal around the ear. I have a small head, and these fit fine.

The headphones come with a bit of plastic cover covering the band’s bottom to protect it from scratches. The earpads are made of memory foam. They conform very well to your ears. The exterior is covered in leather which feels nice on the skin.

Sound Quality

The sound quality is suitable for a pair of wireless headphones. My only complaint with the audio was the bright treble. This is not a common complaint in headphones, but it was prominent enough to be heard when listening to music through the Kicker HP402BTB headphones

The Kicker HP402BTB is easy to set up. This headphone requires no USB connection. It connects to your devices using Bluetooth. The device you will be joining the headphones to will need to have Bluetooth capability.

Battery Life HP402BTB

Battery Life

The battery life is 3.7V/600mAh Lithium-ion technology. The batteries last about 24 hours on a single charge. These headphones do not need to be charged while playing music.

The Tabor won’t shut down automatically after a certain period of inactivity. This is true even if the Tabor isn’t paired. If you forget to turn the Tabor off when, not in use, it can cause battery drain.

The headphones provide a robust bass response on tracks with strong sub-bass content like “Silent Shout” by The Knife. The audio is not affected by the challenging path at high listening levels, whether the headphones or connected devices. The headphones deliver a good sense of bass and crisp high-mid presence at moderate listening levels.

Bill Callahan’s “Drover,” which has no deep bass response, sounds bright through the Tabor. This track’s drums sound natural, but they could do with a little more bass.

Callahan’s baritone voice is given a good amount of low-mid richness and enough high-mid edge so that they are clear and prominent in the mix. This overall audio is mid-focused with some brightness. This pair is not for those looking for a loud, overbearing bass.

Jay-Z and Kanye West’s “No Church in the Wild” kick drum loop is infused with enough high-mid presence to give the hits enough edge and contour to cut through the mix. Although the sub-bass synth hits that punctuate this looping sound are less potent than headphones with more intense bass responses, it doesn’t make the mix weak.

The combination isn’t pushing the bass-forward enough, but there’s still plenty of it. This track features clear vocals that float over the mix with lots of high-mid frequency and high-frequency presence.

The Tabor’s audio signature is very similar to a flat response sound signature on orchestral tracks like the opening scene from John Adams’ The Gospel According To The Other Mary.

While the lower register instruments are rich and full of life, they don’t sound boosted in any way. The higher register strings, brass, vocals, and vocals, however, have excellent brightness. Everything sounds balanced and clear, with no one frequency dominating the audio or being neglected.

Customer Feedbacks HP402BTB

Customer Feedbacks

“Compared with the music signatures of other in-ear headphones in its price range, Kicker Audio Bluetooth headphones have a unique balance in its in-ear model. The low-end is very smooth without sacrificing too much clarity. The kickerbass features are slightly more pronounced than the middle of the sound spectrum, and the high end isn’t as present compared to some other models that we have reviewed. The midrange of these headphones is clear and crisp sounding.

Vocals sound natural and the instruments don’t suffer from any coloration. Furthermore, they don’t sound muffled or veiled, which is often the case with cheaper models. As for the treble, the sound is very crisp and clear but not as forward as the other earbuds we reviewed. It is a good headphone for both music and technology

“Overall, Kicker Audio Tabor Bluetooth headphones are a very smooth-sounding in-ear headphone that doesn’t sacrifice quality. Bluetooth speaker systems and various headphone styles with great bass, smooth mids, and detailed highs. Their performance is realistic and genuine, designed by engineers to precisely re-create what the artist intended you to hear. Granted I’m a big guy, but if the over-the-ear pieces were a bit larger, then that comfort level would have improved noticeably for me in long use sessions.

These earbuds are relatively small and lightweight, making them super comfortable to wear for extended periods.

Even with heavy listening sessions, the earbuds stayed securely in my ears.

These Bluetooth headphones come with two different-sized ear tips so that you can choose the right pair for your particular ear canal shape. The amazing price and I will purchase it against “

” I search on Amazon, and this headphone is relatively cheap, and I see many good review products. It is a great headset wish they had more bass, don’t get me wrong g they have bass, but I’m a bass fanatic lol have a kicker 15″ subwoofer. It looks nice, but it seems uncomfortable when my son wears it some hour after. However, with the cheap headphone, we have accepted it.”

The Kicker Tabor is a well-designed, comfortable Bluetooth headphone pair with a clear, distortion-free audio experience that focuses on the mids. But if you need a good bass response headphone, then it may not be for you. But at this price, it is still worth buying. We hope that our kicker tabor review can help you learn more about this device.
