Design

Although the G560 has a lot of wires and pieces, it is not as complicated as it appears. The instructions for setting up the G560 are printed on the box.

There are no words, which is very comforting. The focal point of the entire setup is a rectangular subwoofer. It will likely be located somewhere on your floor.

To facilitate the lights, connect two circular speakers to this subwoofer. A USB cable runs from the subwoofer to your computer and a power cord.

Although the cables may need to be managed, you don’t have much to do once they are connected. The speaker on the left is a speaker.

On the right, there’s a volume control and a button to adjust the RGB lighting brightness. There are buttons on the back to turn off the speakers and pair a Bluetooth device.

G560 is an excellent choice for those who are proud of their gaming center’s appearance. The subwoofer’s black finish blends well with any environment it is placed in.

The speakers are sleek and attractive, with a unique shape that doesn’t distract from the surrounding environment. You can control how bright the lighting is, although it can be distracting.

These speakers measure 7.5×6.0 inches. Compare that to Razer Nommo speakers, which measure 8 inches by a foot high at their widest point. You might look at speakers that are more vertically inclined if you have limited desk space.

However, the G560’s one major drawback is tied directly to its physical design. The speakers route directly through the subwoofer, so it’s impossible to turn the subwoofer off completely.

Anyone who has ever owned a subwoofer knows that bass vibrations can be more distracting and noticeable than moderately loud music, especially late at night.

You don’t want to share your speakers with your kids, parents, roommates, or just neighbors. This could lead to a problematic situation. You can mitigate this problem by connecting a headphone jack to the right speaker or lowering Logitech Gaming Software’s volume. However, neither of these solutions is perfect.

The headphone jack is treble-forward, and it’s located in the back of each speaker, making it challenging to use short cables. You can reduce the bass to silence the woofer, but it will also cause you to lose the bass sound through regular speakers. The G560 is a good choice if you enjoy late-night gaming but need to keep it relatively quiet.

Gaming Performance

Gaming Performance

The G560 is capable of handling any sound from any source. However, its primary purpose is to be used as a PC gaming accessory.

Logitech sells similar setups for around $100. So I tested it with various games, including competitive first-person shooters and story-driven single-player RPGs.

The G560 produced rich and immersive sound regardless of genre. The audio was able to broadcast all the elements I needed, including voice work, sound effects, and music, regardless of whether I used DTS7.1 surround sound (with a preset Gaming EQ profile) as well as standard stereo.

Pillars of Eternity was dominated by orchestral music, while Overwatch featured the sound effects and gunfire. The G560 supports surround sound so you can creatively position your speakers to feel as if a whole game is happening right in front of your ears.

The sound quality from the circular speakers is similar to that of a high-end headset. It’s hard to believe that a subwoofer can make a big difference if you have never used one before.

It’s not just about hearing bass music and blasts. You feel it in your gut, and depending on the location of your woofer, your feet, and your legs.

Even at lower volume levels, the woofer can make a huge difference. Although I cannot say if it will give you an edge in competition, it will make your gameplay feel more natural and immediate.

You don’t have to worry about the punk rockers among the crowd the G560 is loud enough. For fear of damaging existing windows, I’ve been reluctant to increase the volume beyond 20 on Windows 10.

The G560 could be used to rock a small club or house party. The G560 handles the top end of the spectrum well, but it can’t make it quiet on a computer.

The G560 was comfortable in my private office, even when turned to the lowest setting. It was audible through the window when I turned it up a bit. It wasn’t a problem when working in a noisy office environment, but I think it might be a problem at home at night with no background noise.

Although you can adjust the volume of individual apps and games, it is not as easy as hitting the volume button on your right speaker.

It can be challenging to hit a button. The volume-up, brightness, and volume buttons are located next to each other. I can’t even count how many times they were mixed up.

Audio Quality

While these speakers might have a lot of gaming tricks, the most crucial aspect will be their audio quality. My biggest problem with the G560 speakers is that they are too bassy out of the box.

Everyone has their preferences, and many users will be happy to crank the bass up. These units’ default state is a bit comical in that the low-end rumble can wash out all of it to a surprising degree.

This can be done in the software. The G560s shouldn’t be shipped like this. A manual control dial on the subwoofer would make it much easier to change the levels. Incredibly, it passed Logitech quality control.

After adjusting the bass to an average level, music, movies, and games will still have an extreme kick, but the average gamer will be happy with the sound signature.

This is not the right product for music lovers. There are better options if you listen to music. It’s excellent for gaming, as gunfire and explosions are made more potent by the low rumble. These speakers can cause problems with neighbors if you live in a low-walled house.

One strange issue I have encountered in USB mode is that volume controls don’t work as smoothly as they should. Sometimes the volume increases in small increments, but other times it rises in giant leaps.

Setting 12 is too quiet for me, but 14 is far too loud. Setting 13 is, however, identical to setting 14. It is challenging to get the volume right, and it can be frustrating to adjust the audio quickly.

A frequent issue with Bluetooth static interference is that the speakers can emit a buzz when they are turned on. This can be easily fixed by turning the speakers back on, but it is still annoying.

Software and RGB Lighting

Logitech Gaming Software controls the G560s. While it is easy to use, it may not have as many features as Corsair’s CUE. You can prevent the sound signature with many controls, including the Drop The Bass preset. Additionally, you can adjust RGB lighting to suit your preferred color scheme.

The lighting is bright and vibrant, with many effects to choose from. However, it gets interesting when you can integrate it into the game.

These enable the speakers to be controlled directly from the game, which opens up new possibilities. Some of these are too bright, annoying, and unpractical. My personal favorite is Smite’s cooldown timer effects. They visually indicate when an ability can be used.

My main complaint is that it can all be distracting. While YouTube videos and photographs will make it look unique, it’s not practical for me.

I like the soft white lighting behind my monitor. However, I also love to receive helpful feedback from in-game events. There are more supported games than ever before, but there isn’t a way to control this enough to make it practical or useful.

Logitech G560 Speakers Why should you buy them

Logitech G560 Speakers: Why should you buy them?

Logitech G560s are a targeted product. The G560s have flashing RGB lights that are far more impressive than any keyboard or mouse.

This is sure to attract a lot of attention. Logitech seems to have made fundamental errors that could have been avoided if they had done more user testing. Many of these problems can be fixed by a software update.

Also, the price tag is high. This package is unique and may be considered reasonable, but you can get better audio quality for the same price.

The G560 is a great speaker. The Logitech G560 light sync speakers are a great choice if you’re looking for compact, powerful speakers that add flair to your gaming setup.

The T15 speakers arrived in a well-packed box. They were placed between two giant foam pieces inside the box and covered with soft plastic bags. They look great with grilles. The Polk emblem and slight curvature of grilles add style.

These black woodgrain side panels look a lot more classy than the standard for this price range, usually textured vinyl. The speaker can be removed from the grilles.

The front baffle is made of semi-lustrous plastic and has rounded edges. A blue plate with the Polk logo surrounds the tweeter dome. The woofer cone is a creamy gravy with a glossy dust cap.

The front-mounted port is a small, gaping black tube that is located between the woofer and tweeter. It is a distinctive visual feature. When a speaker has a front baffle, ports are typically placed under the woofer.

Polk audio may have used this arrangement to reduce the height dimension. The Polk T15 speakers are a good value for money. Although they aren’t flashy, they don’t look cheap.
