Design and Build Quality
The eye-catching design and sleek black color make them one of the best options for someone looking for something flashy with few features. It comes with a fully removable cable, an NCredible sticker, and it can be replaced by any other monster cable you like with a standard 3.5mm jack.
The 4.6-foot cord is detachable, for one thing. That way, if you crush your cord with your office chair, at least you aren’t stuck replacing the entire unit
One of the main features is the Monster Ntune high-performance dynamic drivers for deep bass sound, which are not for everyone. You will also receive a 48-inch audio cable with a mic and remote.
Moreover, these noise canceling headphones come with a foldable design and a carrying pouch for easy transportation and storage. The ear cups are made from memory foam for better comfort and noise isolation.
The exterior is made mainly from shiny plastic, making it feel much cheaper than other models in the same category. On the other hand, the ear cups are a very soft and comfortable fit to wear even for a long time.
The N Tunes are a simple but effective one-size-fits-all example. These N Tunes are marketed towards gamers and music lovers. They offer a great sound at a reasonably reasonable price tag, and their design makes them suitable for both casual and severe use.
The adjustability may be limited to extendable sidebars, but the swiveling earcups will ensure that the headphones fit nicely on any head.
The padded headband makes them extra comfortable, and the ear cups are incredibly soft, so they should fit any user.
Speaking of the earcups, it takes only a glance to see that they feature extensive padding. The padding is soft but thick, and the headband fits securely around your head, even during extended use.
The right earcup also has a handy mute switch, so you can mute out all external noise when not using the headphones.
Earcups on these headphones look similar to aluminum car wheels, and they come with a detachable cable that connects to the left earpiece.
Judging by the pictures alone, you might think that these are wireless headphones. They’re not.
The cable is flat, thick, and doesn’t feature any strain relief or sheathing. The wire itself is decently thick, but the lack of strain relief makes it feel like its lifespan will be relatively short.
The cable is a little on the short side, but it’s a cable that you can use for a considerable amount of time before needing to replace it. With the Monster headphones, you won’t find any ordinary cable. This cable has many in-line features.
The cable is not tangled, and, for that matter, it’s unique. You can also use it to answer or end calls, as well as change songs. It also features an in-line microphone that can adjust volume and has self-correcting volume.
The cable would have received a 10/10 if it had volume controls. They are not even found on the ear pads. This is a significant oversight that many people don’t like to deal with on consoles or PCs.
The parts are predominantly plastic. Users can’t control volume with the remote. Users may plug the cable into either the left or right ear cup, as there are outlets on both.
The sound quality is fantastic. The bass will satisfy even the most hardcore audiophiles out there, which is no surprise. If you’re looking for a pair of headphones that won’t cost you an arm and a leg but are high-quality, you should consider purchasing these.
The bass is very dynamic, extends unbelievably low, and there’s enough power behind it to make your head shake and your feet tap.
It isn’t a bass-heavy headphone, even though it’s marketed as such. The mid-range is also very well defined, and the treble isn’t very forward sounding.
It can get a little sibilant at times, but if you’re a bass head, it probably won’t bother you.
The built-in in-line microphone provides equally good audio quality, with no distortion to speak of.
This isn’t an oversight; it’s a feature! The NTune headphones are fabulous for gaming and listening to bass-heavy music genres. The passive noise cancellation is excellent. These headphones can be used to muffle outside noises, even when they’re not music playback.
However, the base can be a little overwhelming when used to create other sounds. If you are looking for more accurate sound reproduction and cleaner vocals, the Monster NTune is not the right choice.
The NTune headphones are not only fabulous for all the reasons we mentioned, but they also have the most cost-efficient option. These headphones are just $170, which is surprisingly low considering their MSRP. Although it’s not clear if they were worth the price, you can find them on Amazon for as low as $40.
It is important to remember that prices will vary depending on color. Some versions, such as dark titanium, are more expensive than the MSRP. This is an exception, however.
Most performances are around the $50-60 range. You can get decent headphones at a third the price of comparable models if you choose one of these or even lower versions.
Customer Feedbacks on Monster N-Tune Review
“Cheap, good item with excellent sound. Well worth the money I spent on them. I was not disappointed with these IEMs for my price range, good sound, great detail in the mids and highs, very nice sounding overall. It fits well in the ears; the wire is sturdy, they are comfortable to wear. N Tunes are a good product. Good luck!“
“Solid build, comfortable around the ears, neutral sound signature. I’m not an audiophile, so I can’t say much about this product other than it’s well built and very comfortable around the ears.
Sound is very neutral, suitable for music genres where the vocals are the focus. It’s very lightweight, so it does not get uncomfortable even for hours of use. This first pair of headsets is great to hear bass-heavy music genres. N Tunes are seen as outperforms most headphones in the market to purchase”
