Ray J, an American rapper and reality TV star, co-founded Raycon with Ray Lee. Ray J, an American rapper turned reality TV star, and Ray Lee joined forces to form Raycon Wireless Headphones.
The company aims to be cheaper than the big players in the active noise cancelling technology industry by offering more affordable options. However, it is currently limited to selling them in the US.
Raycon True wireless earbuds have been in existence since 2017 and have gained popularity due to celebrity endorsements and YouTube affiliates. This, along with low prices and further discounts, has helped Raycon be a big player.
Customers on its website praise Raycon earbuds. We found this to be largely accurate in our testing. However, many people don’t mention any downsides.
Raycon true wireless earbuds is a trustworthy company that makes build quality products. Raycon includes five total silicon ear tip sizes, which is more than most companies offer: Raycon E20, Raycon E55, Raycon 100… But, as with all companies, these products don’t always work out as well as they should.
Who Is It For?
The IPX4 sweat resistance and good connection will appeal to people looking for exercise in ear headphones.
This pure sound profile is not for everyone. These Raycon earbuds can make audio sound terrible, but someone might enjoy them.

Design And Use
- What is it like to use the Raycon true wireless earbuds?
The Raycon true wireless earbuds are easy to use. Everything about them works as they claim. I have never seen a charging case as small as the original AirPods. Although the soft plastic exterior feels great, it can be slippery.
It is of great to build quality. Each earbud has a physical button for controls and is branded with the Raycon logo.
The case’s magnets keep your amazing earbuds in their place. Although it is not difficult to open the lid, you will need to use two hands. After the lid is open, the earbuds will automatically turn on and connect to the last paired device.
They are a comfortable fit in small ears. I find the default ear canal a bit too loose, so Raycon provides four additional pairs. Raycon everyday earbuds fit problems when I run, which causes them to move around a lot. This is especially true when I sweat.
The E25 true wireless earbuds look cheap and are made from glossy plastic. The earbuds don’t feature touch-controls and instead have a button to playback the previous song.
Raycon E25 true wireless had one major problem: I felt a strange and uncomfortable suction sensation whenever I controlled either button.
It is excruciating to have to repeatedly hit the button during a run to control the volume control. The volume buttons feel cheap and wobble slightly with each touch.
- Are The Raycon Waterproof?
Raycon earbuds are water- and sweat-resistant due to the IPX4 certification. However, they are not waterproof. Our full explanation explains how IP ratings work. These earbuds can be used for running or exercise, but not for swimming.
- What Is The Strength Of A Connection?
The Raycon true wireless is Bluetooth 5.0-capable and can maintain a stable connection with only a few minor hiccups. The Raycon Bluetooth codecs are the same as other wireless earphones. They only support AAC and SBC. For more information on Bluetooth codecs, please visit our explanation.
All Bluetooth audio devices use SBC as the default codec. AAC, however, uses a different method to compress information.
SBC and AAC are compatible on both iOS and Android, although our testing revealed that AAC does not always work well on Android, though iPhone users will have to settle for SBC. These were compatible with my Pixel 4a, and I never have listening experienced any latency when watching videos.
It is a favorite YouTuber and senior editor product.
- How Do You Connect To The Raycon?
All you have to do to connect the Raycon pair of true wireless earbuds is to open the case, but it’s almost impossible to open it with one hand. The headphones will automatically switch on when you open the lid.
The small LED light at each earbud will indicate that the earbuds are in pairing mode. It quickly switches between red and blue while it is open.
- Do The Raycon Support Bluetooth Multipoint?
The Raycon true wireless doesn’t support Bluetooth multipoint. This means that you can only connect the Raycon to one device at once and switch between sources manually. Here’s how to reset your earbuds, so they pair with a new one.
- Turn off your earbuds with the help of a case. Hold the buttons down for five seconds.
- Open Bluetooth settings on your device and remove Raycon (from the list of pair IOS devices)
- For 30 seconds, hold down the buttons on both earbuds.
- Please place them in the charging case.
- They will automatically go into pairing mode when you take them out.
- How Does The Raycon Wireless Earbuds sound quality?
If you want good balanced sound quality, these earphones may not be the one for you. They may get an update shortly. But the short version is that these earphones increase bass and high harmonics to an extreme level.
We don’t judge. It’s not something we recommend. Listening to safe levels can make your audio sound bad.
The Raycon earbuds’ frequency response is clear. It pumps bass and produces high peak harmonics. The low harmonics and mids are just fine, but the rest drowns them out.
These will instantly make you hear the music. These instruments will drown out any strong drum beat or bass line, making vocals a little more challenging to understand.
This is particularly true for Distance by Emily King, where the bassline dominates almost everything. The song’s bass should add a subtle groove, blending in with the soft vocals.
It isn’t easy to hear any other instruments when the bass guitar is plucking. The amplified bass causes a noticeable drop in volume and masks vocals.
The noticeable mid-slope dips can cause vocals to sound distorted. Although it is difficult to understand the lyrics to 1901 by Phoenix’s chorus, that could be due to the bass’s unforgiving nature–in either case, it is not a flattering effect.
Even if you don’t pay attention to modern pop or rock songs with heavy bass heads, there are still problems.
Hotel California by The Eagles is undoubtedly one of my favorite songs on headphones. However, the highs are distorted and overpowered by other elements at nearly every point. Although some may enjoy the Raycon everyday earbuds sound, most people will not.
The Raycon E25 true wireless earbuds are a fit perfectly and do a decent job of isolating you. The above isolation graph shows exactly what you can expect isolation from the outside world from the 500 Hz range up.
This is a sign of a great fit. Anything below the 300 Hz range passes through the headphones quickly, so you won’t hear people talking or everyday household noises. You can control them up to max volume to drown out the surrounding noise, but that can cause hearing loss, which is worth noting.
- What Is Battery Life?
Moving a step up to the Raycon Performance earbuds, you get a slightly better fit thanks to the built-in wing that hooks into your outer ear and a better overall battery life with the case.
Raycon claims the Raycon E25 true wireless earbuds will last six hours on a single charge. However, in our testing, we found that their battery life lasted just 5 hours and 44 mins.
Every pair of Raycon true everyday earbuds was subject to the same objective testing, which consisted of listening to music at 75dB for the duration of the headphones’ battery life. Although six hours is not the longest we have tested, it’s enough to provide a good listening experience for an average workout or workday.
There are two significant drawbacks to this product. These charge via micro USB, which is unacceptable considering the product’s price range and time.
The Raycon E25 true everyday earbuds are not fast-charging. The case takes about an hour to fully charge the buds, while the case usually takes between 2 and 3 hours to charge. There’s a micro-USB charging port on the back rather than a USB-C one.
- How can you tell when they have been charged?
A small LED ring is located inside the charging case. It indicates when the battery life has reached its maximum capacity. The light on the charging case will turn red when it is charged.
Once fully charged, the light will turn solid red. The buds have LEDs, so it’s a bit different. While charging, the everyday earbuds remain in a solid red color and then change to electric blue when fully charged.
- Do they offer wireless charging?
The Raycon E25 Case does not support a wireless charging cable. A micro USB charging cable is the only way to charge your Raycon E25 case.
- Is It Possible To Use Only One Raycon Earbud Per Day?
We were delighted to learn that Raycon can only use one Raycon at a time. You can use the left earbud alone, as it is the main one. It is possible to connect two devices, and each earbud can be used for each.
To do this, turn off the right earbud. Next, hold the button down for approximately 20 seconds until you see a flashing red and blue light. The right ear can now be used by itself.
You can use both earbuds simultaneously in binaural mode by turning both buds off and pressing the button for 20 seconds until you see the blue and red lights.
Do Raycon E25 Everyday Earbuds Offer Noise Cancellation?
They do not feature active noise cancellation technology. Raycon everyday earbuds come with a microphone built-in for calls, but not ambient noise canceling.
A pair of these buds are so tiny that it would be difficult to fit all the technology. It is not an easy feat to make noise cancellations correctly, and Raycon has many more resources and experience.
- Does The Raycon E25 Have A Mic?
Yes, Raycon earbuds come with a microphone. Although you won’t get a perfect reproduction of your voice (which can be seen in the graph by the dotted red line), the microphone does a good job. These are not necessary for most people.
It emphasizes notes between 300 and 1000 Hz to make you sound louder to someone on the other side. Raycon true wireless earbuds also reproduce sounds between 100 and 300 HZ, as well as some lower notes.
The proximity effect is countered by a sharp drop of response below 100Hz. This is a good thing, but it also means that your lower vocal notes won’t sound as loud.
It is suitable for mixed-use. They are not recommended for gaming or dedicated neutral sound, but they are comfortable and offer pretty good noise isolation. This makes them an excellent choice for sports or traveling.
Although they are portable and can be charged quickly, some may find the lack of customization and active noise cancellation options disappointing.
The Raycon E25 is poor at the neutral sound. The Raycon everyday earbuds have a V-shaped sound profile. They often have a loud bass that can overwhelm the mids and the treble at times.
Vocals and the lead instruments lack detail. However, they have excellent stereo imaging and consistency, provided you have a good seal. It is good for hearing to a podcast and youtube video.
It should be recommended to purchase them from your favorite YouTuber.
The Raycon everyday earbuds are great for both traveling and commuting. While they aren’t as efficient at blocking out the low rumbles from bus engines, their noise isolation is excellent for ambient chatter and high-pitched sounds like AC units.
The everyday earbuds and the wireless charging case are small and lightweight, which contributes to comfort and portability.
The Raycon everyday earbuds are very suitable for sports. They are comfortable because of their size and round finish. Although they are rated IPX4 for sweat and water resistance.
The Raycon everyday earbuds E25 is a good choice for office use. They are quiet and have excellent noise isolation from ambient speech. Although they won’t last for an entire day, the battery performance can be charged very quickly.
The Raycon everyday earbuds E25 can make phone calls. The call audio quality of the Raycon everyday earbuds cannot distinguish between background noise and speech, so your voice can be heard in quiet environments. These headphones can block out most background noise. You can hear the other end perfectly fine.
It is not suitable for wireless gaming. They don’t work with the Xbox One or PS4 consoles. You can only use them with a PC with Bluetooth capabilities. However, the listening experience is not enjoyable due to the high latency.
Out of the box, a single tap corresponds to play/pause/answer call/end call, a double tap skips tracks forward or backward, and a triple tap increases or decreases volume.
The Raycon everyday earbuds is Bluetooth-only. They can’t be wired.
They are also perfect for hip-hop, electronic music, and heavy metal. They are also good for the general-purpose casual listener, as well. They’re still a really good option for less than $100.
Raycon everyday earbuds come with three different-sized ear tips and an adjustable wire clip, so they should fit snugly in your ears without everyday earbuds falling out.
The good sound quality is surprisingly good considering their low price – you can expect clear vocals and crisp highs without distortion or difficulty hearing quieter sounds like whispers or murmurs.
If you’re looking for cheap headphones to use while running, biking, swimming, hiking, etc., these might be the perfect pair for you!.
